Working at the City Council

About Milton Keynes City Council

Milton Keynes City Council is a unitary authority which means we have responsibilities for all local government services in MK, including education, housing, highways and social services - around 250 services in all. We’re one of the largest employers in the region, making a difference every day for local people. Whether we're protecting young people, keeping neighbourhoods clean, opening a library or building a new school, we care about our communities and aim to set a great example in our working practices. Working at the council provides a stimulating and exciting environment where our diverse and talented team are at the heart of everything we do.
