Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)

“Being on ASYE in Milton Keynes is great as the team is very supportive and you feel like you’re part of the team which makes the learning environment really positive.” Alice, ASYE, Working Age Adults Team.

Joining ASYE

If you’re a Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) or in your final year of social work study - we’d love to hear from you. At Milton Keynes Adult Services our Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) scheme for NQSWs allows you to earn while you learn across a variety of services.

Whichever service you train in you’ll get plenty of support from our full time Practice Educator and Principal Social Worker as well as the professionals you’ll be working with - who’ll be more than happy to take you under their wing.

Career progression

We're dedicated to career development and use our Social Work Progression Scale to structure opportunities to support you beyond ASYE. Plus, our selection process isn’t based purely on how well you interview or the grades you earned, because we know that being a successful Social Worker is about much more than that.

So, if you’re passionate about helping people and want to work in a supportive environment with people who strive to provide the best in adult care - get in touch today.
